"Feed the hungry,
      and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
The Lord will guide you continually,
giving you water when you are dry
      and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
      like an ever-flowing spring."

Isaiah 58:11-12 (NLT)

Thirteen students and adults served at "The Peace Center for New Americans" in St. Louis. While there, they cleaned and painted the Peace Center, built a shelf unit in the food pantry, and led a summer camp for over 25 refugee children in the surrounding communities. These children have come from countries like Afghanistan, Liberia, and Ethiopia. The group also toured St. Louis by visiting the Arch, the Old Spaghetti Factory, and Concordia Seminary!

Trip Completed!

16 students and adults served at the Children of Israel Orphanage in Les Cayes, Haiti. While there, they led a VBS, taught English, spent time with the children, visited Ile a Vache, and painted the girls' orphanage. This was a trip of discovery as we found new ways of serving and helping the "least of these"!
