 FIVE SUMMER TRIPS IN 2010
Due to increased popularity and demand, missionABLAZE will host five mission trips this summer. Incoming freshmen will be able to attend the New Orleans and Chicago Mission Trips only, but all five trips are open to all high school students. Adult mission trip leaders are needed for all five trips, as well.

NEW ORLEANS MISSION TRIP
Dates: Saturday, June 12 - Saturday, June 19, 2010
Cost: $350
Details: Help repair and rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Lodging and meals are provided by Camp Restore.
CHICAGO MISSION TRIP
Dates: Sunday, June 20 - Saturday, June 26, 2010
Cost: $150
Details: Serve in inner city Chicago with work and outreach projects. Lodging and meals provided by a local Lutheran church.
HAITI MISSION TRIPS #1 & #2
Trip 1 Dates: Friday, June 25 - Saturday, July 3, 2010
Trip 2 Dates: Friday, July 2- Saturday, July 10, 2010
Cost: $1050* (*includes airfare prices of $650 round-trip)
Details: Trip one will serve by providing skill training and work on various construction projects.
Trip two will lead a VBS, teach English, and provide some leadership training, as well. Both trips will visit Ile A Vache. We will stay at the guest house of the Children of Israel Orphanage.
MIAMI MISSION TRIP
Dates: Friday, July 22 - August 2, 2010
Cost: $350
Details: We will work with Habitat for Humanity in Miami and also help lead various outreach projects. Lodging is provided by Faith Lutheran Church in Haileah, FL.

LEARN MORE AT THE INFORMATION MEETING
In 2010, we'll have two different Mission Trip Information Meetings for students, their parents, and adult trip leaders. On Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 4:30 pm in room 17, come to learn more about our two mission trips to Haiti. It's important that both students and their parents attend to learn about the great challenges of these trips to a third-world nation.
On Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 4:30 pm in the church sanctuary, come to learn about our three domestic mission trips to New Orleans, Chicago, and Miami. Again, parents, students (including incoming freshmen), and trip leaders are asked to join us. Even if you sure you can go, come to find out the details of these trips!
